Luckily no one ever expects me to be the life of the party, so. It works well enough if I just manage to look aloof and mysterious.

*shrugs* We went to an artists' colony once on some planet. That helped. He's got some notion of taking her to the Eternals now to attempt to inspire them? I'm sketchy on the details.

Ah, well, I got...distracted. Saving worlds, aiding resistances, thwarting invasions... I made notes, but the hands-on research didn't go very well. 'Historical mysteries' is a far more difficult topic than I'd imagined.

You and me both. It was bad enough in my day, what they called an education at Cambridge, but at least at Harrow, they pushed us to learn the basics and the Classics.

Yes. *pauses, considering* I'm currently travelling with one young woman who will break a man's arm for touching her bottom - not that I blame her, mind, even if I don't approve - and another who's entirely too good at smashing pottery over peoples' heads. For a start.

*sighs* I've seen education shift and change the world over, but they can never seem to get it right. I suppose lack of funding and interest doesn't help the system overmuch, and that seems a broad problem.
