Yes, well, then the TARDIS almost exploded so you can be relieved that it didn't go too far. *seems to possibly be pouting about that. a lot*
*blinks slightly* I'm sorry. It's just...difficult to believe such things will ever change when you have...I was just a child the first time I saw a man hung for it. It formed a rather indelible impression.
You really oughtn't ask me to betray a lady's confidence.
*looks rather stricken for a moment, his voice growing softer* I do imagine it would. *reaches out a hand before drawing it back* They will - they have. Perhaps not in the minds of the ignorant, but they will eventually be in the minority.
You picked a wonderful time to become a gentleman.
((He's quite willing to share, in the interest of words everywhere.))
Something about moving toward eternity and it draining the power and the life support. But he fixed it! It's all right! I promise...
*slight twist of his lips* They made me leave my home. They imprisoned one of my best friend for two years, almost breaking him, near a century later. It's ... even now, boys are beaten to death outside of clubs, just because they want to be with others like them. It is hard to believe it can ever truly be better.
*slowly calms, his breathing returning to normal* Well, yes, I would. I should have realised...but, as you said, she's fine now. Well then. *raises eyebrows* Quick fortunate that she interrupted you.
*hesitates, then moves to squeeze his shoulder, gently* I know. It can be...difficult, to see past the atrocities, but there are...there is good to be seen. Good being done.
Do gentleman often make a habit of drunkenly snogging another's partner? *a lack of any real fire in the words, more teasing than goading*
((I think it has 'logophile' scratched into the bottom.))
I know what she means to you. I ought not have said it so flippantly. But yes, I suppose it was fortunate, considering how...attentive you were getting.
*small grateful smile* So Jack seems to say, or prove, or. Something.
*tilt of his head, amused* I don't know, Doctor, do they?
Ok. LJ is going nuts. I was missing tags, not getting notifs, so I came to look if I'd missed one from you and this one hadn't posted so I posted the other one and then this one was there. *eyes it all warily* You need to sic the Evil!Doctor on it...
*headdesks* I think I'm going to find a different style, see if that helps at all. This one looks all pleasant but it's quite devious, apparently. ...Evil!Doctor would approve.
Hmm. Maybe just change the comment style so that it doesn't match? That way when you're reading your journal, you have the nice pretty look that you like, but the comments post in the just plain LJ mode sans style. That's what I had to do on Byron's b/c of the same thing--but I liked the look of the layout, so now I have the best of both worlds. *g*

Perhaps we should start a list. Now, what exactly did she tell you?

*pauses* Do you know, I'm not entirely sure.
((Very strict. Serious about language, is the Doctor.))

Date: 2007-03-26 06:30 pm (UTC)I like the idea of a more flexible humanity. It widens the options one has.
*grins* I can handle it if you can.
((Well, yes. There is that. ))

Date: 2007-03-27 09:59 pm (UTC)Certainly! Makes for less repression and hostility as well, on that matter at least.
