Make up a title for a story I didn't write, and I will respond with details of those non-written stories. You may if you like include details, such as pairings or fandom or whatnot.

:D? Please? I might really write them, which would mean I wrote things.

For truly, but I'm willing to bet the Other made HORRIBLE JOKES about that too. See, that's why clearly you should not push your best friend into/arrange for your best friend to descend into/have nothing to do with it as your best friend falls into a singularity. You go from Burning Down Cities crazy to Megalomaniacal Reign of Terror crazy.

But at what cost? What are you now? Who are you, after these many long years?

Quite so! So fandom, why have you not writing me fic about this. Knowing/meeting, I don't care. Fandom, provide.

Omega would like to say (in Rassilon's defense) that the whole 'burning down cities' thing was an accident (uh, probably), since Rass was on the mountain with him. And the whole reason they were on the mountain is because Rass wanted to keep Omega from being caught and killed, which I thought was a bit sweet. ...In a very absurd way.

I am not the same man I was. I doubt anyone would be, had they suffered what I have suffered. But I have not traded my sense of self for my own survival, nor would I ever. I am still Omega.

/considers providing! ...After his app gets finished. >>

Awww, defending Rassilon even after he potentially shoved Omega into a black hole. Though that is sweet, in an absurd way. Though, really? Not about the accident thing (...though Rass DID sound awfully pleased about that) but the 'caught/killed' thing? It's been awhile since I listened to Omega, but I guess I must have missed that? Or is it another spin-off thing or something? My knowledge of the founders is painfully spotty. (Hence not actually playing Rassilon anywhere.)

And Paylix? What of that man?

Please do provide! ...ooh, app?

It comes from a few lines they cut from the audio, to the effect of, "This is why I didn't bother telling you, you'd have only started whimpering and would have been rounded up with the others." And you totally should play him somewhere, because, dude. Rassilon. Rassilon with audio!canon at that! He is win.

[sharply] I am surprised you would even ask. You were the one who encouraged my abandonment of that name, after all.

He's being sent to RS! Er, if I ever manage to finish his history.

Awww, that is sweet! Where did you find out about that, if you don't mind me asking? Perhaps it's peculiar, but I'm also exceptionally interested in lines that end up cut out.

Yes, and you know what they say of that name now. How fortunate that instead you are a hero to our people. Were, rather.

Ohh, yay!!! That will be lots of fun. I kinda luff Omega lots and lots and lots and lots.

Not at all! Big Finish actually puts out books of their audio scripts, with a bunch of extra stuff about what lines they cut and why, little author's notes, and a few pages for each audio about how they got the idea and all the little background information that went in it. I'm a huge geek and couldn't resist buying the one that had Omega, Davros, Master, and Zagreus scripts.

[ouch :(] I will not be forgotten so easily. ...And your legend has hardly fared better.

Hee, awesome. He's one of my favorite characters. :D

Oohhhhh, I remember coming across some of those when I was scanning through Indigo's online DW stuff. None in my local bookstore, of course, but that's so awesome!

[Rassilon is a jerk] No? Are not the artefacts of Gallifrey's highest office and the keys to he greatest secrets named for me? You, Omega, have a lost hand. [so maybe he built statues of Omega out of genuine affection. That doesn't stop him from getting cranky!]

I sort of loved him forever from the first time I saw him. He is very likely my favourite of the founding Gallifreyans.

Amazon usually has them pretty cheap? I bought mine for about twelve bucks with shipping through one of their sellers. Definitely don't by them straight from Big Finish, though -- they want thirty dollars for them.

[brb, worrying about being forgotten] My achievements gave Gallifrey mastery over Time. Neither Time travel nor Time Lords would exist without me. [Ten thousand years later, and Rassilon still knows what buttons to push.]

Oh god, me too. The poor guy is always getting the short end of the stick.

Oooh. *just checked 'em out on Amazon* That is awesome! I think I may well end up buying at LEAST the one with Omega/Master/Davros/Zagreus

And yet they forgot you and abandoned you to your eternity.

I know!! And really, if you compare him to other crazyevil Time Lords, he's a great deal lower on the evil.

/encourages this! I want the one with Loups Garoux as well, just for all of the Turlough/Five scenes.

[>/] As did you.

Ahaha, yes. The scriptwriter even mentioned that the most evil thing he'd done was, uh, kill a gardener. That rates pretty low on the Evil Scale of Evil.

Oooh, yes. ...I'm sad that they don't have any with some of my other favourites, though. QUELLE SADNESS. And hey, there are Short Trips available for order! Awesome.

Are you upset with me, old friend?

That gardener could have been the second coming of Christ!!!! Compare this to the Master's deathtoll in Logopolis alone. Mind you, Omega threatened the entire universe a good few times, but really, not so bad.

Clearly, they just need to publish all the scripts! They could do it like the Target novels, and then I could have new things to collect.

I have the right to be! I gave Gallifrey its greatest achievement, and in return I gained nothing but an eternity of solitude and nothingness.

Personally, I think Omega's a lot of talk, but not really too keen on the whole 'destroy the universe' deal. Time Lords? Sure, the first time he manages to attempt an escape. But people dying seems to really bother him -- just look at Hedin! He was genuinely upset to know that Hedin had been killed.

I would give in and buy them, I admit it.

How selfish, Omega! Is not the giving a gift enough?

And also, how angry he was at the woman whose name I forgot in Omega when she was all right with his genocide. It seems like he's actually pretty fond of life. He's just a little bit crazy.

Date: 2009-05-29 07:32 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] cosmic-engineer.livejournal.com
Oh, so would I, in a heartbeat. Just like with the novelizations -- I don't need them, but I really like having them.

Is it selfish to want life? To exist the the real universe, to not go mad in exile? If expecting the slightest bit of aid from those I gave everything for is selfish, Rassilon, then yes, I am.

Ahah, kooky Sentia. But yes! He's unbalanced and has a hell of a temper, but if anything, we see in Arc of Infinity that just being around people helps with that, with him not going off on the little human kid who ran into him.

From: [identity profile] stuffofme.livejournal.com
I have often considered picking up some novelizations. It's really very tempting.

Perhaps there was no way to save you. Perhaps to save you would be to destroy the universe itself.

She was so crazy, yes she was. ...And basically the entire section where he had a body and wandered around Amsterdam very confused was quite adorable to me.

Buying in hulk from Ebay is the way to go. Although, if you don't mind not having the actual books, most of them are out on torrent...

They did not even attempt it! And you well know that breaching the walls between universes would no more destroy our own universe than travelling time would.

It was! Well, up until the green rice crispies made their appearance. ...ilu, Old Who.

I have spotted them here or there on the internet...

Your latest attempt made a very good show of nearly destroying our universe.

...yes. Old Who is the best, it is.

A few ljs have them downloadable as well, if the torrent route doesn't work.

If they had not interfered, no harm would have come to anyone.

This is a fact! Poor Peter Davison.
