Erimem asks him why he wears it, since an adversary could easily grab it and pull him off-balance. Five explains that it swishes dramatically when he turns around, and sometimes the psychological effects outweigh the physical ones.

THE VERY SAME FROCK COAT, THOUGH IT IS BLACK. d!Five, though, knows when to change his bloody clothes. No pun intended. He does it far more than his appearances on the Plane would suggest. Partially to associate himself more with the other Doctors.

Also, how did that go in his head? "Hmm, the other Doctors never seem to change. I will not change either, to pretend I am as stupid at time travel as they are."

Pretty much. :D Really, he likes to downplay his difference, and he noticed the Doctors generally have their one type of outfit so he figured HEY WHY NOT, it's not like he brawls much on the Plane.

(In a sweet way! Ish. Relatively. ANYWAY. UM. I am not good at deciding things, Scribbles, I'm about as good as Dero. We could do the call plus Five picking him up? ...They still have to merge, don't they? ...Did that sound dirty?)

Well, if it were appropriate attire... Now I want Five ending up on the Plane in a feather boa. Because Gene doesn't think he's gay enough obvs.

well as long as he doesn't tell Gene how Sam intends on spending his vacation---

(Heart! ... TARDIS is good, Manchester is good. I am not sure what to do with the travelling. If the TARDIS dematerializes and lands elsewhere, I'd say Sam would land on that planet, but it's possible he wouldn't get Five's version of that planet.)
