Well. A deal is a deal, after all.

Leave me a comment and I will...

1) Tell you why I friended you
2) Associate you with a song/movie
3) Tell a random fact about you
4) Tell a first memory about you
5) Associate you with an animal/fruit
6) Ask something I've always wanted to know about you
7) Show you my favorite user pic of yours
8) In return, you MUST spread this disease in your LJ

1) I always meant it when I called you my best friend.

2) She's a wild one
With an angel's face
She's a woman-child
In a state of grace
When she was three years old on her daddy's knee
He said you can be anything you want to be
She's a wild one
Runnin' free

She has future plans and dreams at night
When they tell her life is hard she says that's alright

3) You never give up.

4) You were posing as your aunt to infiltrate UNIT (which was quite clever by the way) - ah, and I'll never forget that look you gave me when I asked you to make coffee.

5) A kitten. Infinitely curious, more dangerous than it looks, and quite loveable.

6) ...When we part. What do you plan on doing?

7)Image

1. You'll always be mine, and more. No matter what happens.
5. I rather like that description.
6. ...I'd, ah. Oh, I hate thinking about that, Doctor. I know it's going to happen some day, and when it does I'll just continue on where I left off with investigative journalism, but oh. Did you have to ask that? I really despise thinking of a time when you're no longer part of my life.

[identity profile] thecricketer.livejournal.com 2007-05-10 05:42 pm (UTC)(link)
5) I'm glad.

6) I know, and I'm sorry, but...I never stopped wondering. What you were doing, how your life was - I wanted to have some idea.

[identity profile] his-sarah-jane.livejournal.com 2007-05-10 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
6. And you couldn't just come visit and find out for yourself instead of asking me hypothetical questions about a future I haven't lived through yet?

[identity profile] of-traken.livejournal.com 2007-05-10 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
As if I wouldn't be curious...

[identity profile] thecricketer.livejournal.com 2007-05-10 05:40 pm (UTC)(link)
1) You're Nyssa. Of course I did.

2) Loth Lorien - there are no words, simply beautiful, soothing music that speak of paradise.

3) You have the most lovely laugh.

4) I looked through the world with new eyes, and I saw your face. I remembered peace, and soothing words, and quiet strength, and I felt calm. As if I needn't worry, because everything would go as it should.

5) An owl. Eyes that pierce the dark, a delicate form hiding fierce strength, freedom that is never wasted, and endless wisdom.

6) ...Did you ever blame me?

7) Oh, you looks lovely in all of the, but...

Image

It looks like a family portrait.

[identity profile] of-traken.livejournal.com 2007-05-10 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
4) I've been told my presence is calming, I'm glad it proved so during sucha difficult regeneration.

6) ...For the Master and the Entropy? Never. I blamed myself for not insisting that I go with you as Tegan did. perhaps things could have been avoided....

...For Adric? ...Yes. For a time. But then when the hurt and anger subsided a bit, I knew that wasn't reasonable and that you would never deliberately do something and we were all victims of circumstance.

7) I miss that sometimes. We were a family.

[identity profile] thecricketer.livejournal.com 2007-05-10 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
6) You cannot blame yourself for not considering possibilities you could not possibly have known of. Why yes, I am a bit of a hypocrite.

...Thank you for being honest. I do understand, and I'm glad that...you don't, anymore.

7) All we can do is remember, and protect the family we've made now.

[identity profile] of-traken.livejournal.com 2007-05-11 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
6) You were with the Master. Something was bound to go wrong. I...had a feeling. Like something terrible was going to happen. I should have intervened more.

You're welcome, Doctor. I think...when something so traumatic happens it's in one's nature to place blame, even if there isn't much blame to be placed.

7) We are a family now, aren't we? So different though. You used to be the big brother. *grins* What are you now, hm?

[identity profile] thecricketer.livejournal.com 2007-05-10 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
1) I've...always rather admired you, but unfortunately never got round to meeting you. Now that I have I wouldn't want to waste the opportunity. You're a brilliant woman.

2) I suppose it would be cheating to name any of the movies made of your life?

3) I don't know you well, really - not until my Tenth incarnation - but from all I've known of you you are cunning without being cruel, which is a fine trait. Aside from that, you have lovely eyes.

4) You greeted me when I first arrived, and we had quite a pleasant conversation.

5) A cat - refined and intelligent, with a keen mind and

6) ...Oh, dear, I wouldn't want to ask about something that hasn't happened yet. And I shouldn't ask how we met - meet.

7) Image

You look radiant.

[identity profile] ambitious-woman.livejournal.com 2007-05-11 03:28 pm (UTC)(link)
6) Should not ask? Or will not ask?

[identity profile] thecricketer.livejournal.com 2007-05-11 07:03 pm (UTC)(link)
6) Should not, and so will not. I wouldn't want to risk altering events. I assume I didn't seem to know what was going on ahead of time?

[identity profile] thecricketer.livejournal.com 2007-05-10 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
1) I grew fond of you very quickly, and you've become incredibly dear to me.

2) Anárion -

From darkness I understand the night
dreams flow, a star shines
Ah! I desire Evenstar

Look! A star rises out of the darkness
The song of the star enchants my heart
Ah! I desire...

Much of it is instrumental, twining the dark with the light, always lovely, ending with powerful hope.

3) Your favourite colour is green.

4) Walking with you, when I first came here. From that day I realised I would quite enjoy my stay.

5) A butterfly.

6) ...Why did you fall in love with me? My...later self, I mean.

7) Image

You look happy, light at heart. I quite like seeing you look like that. I do hope I'll see you smile again soon.

[identity profile] alainn-aislinn.livejournal.com 2007-05-11 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
1. And I, you.
2. I've never heard it. I'd like to.
6. Why? I don't...does anyone ever know why? You made me smile. You understood me. You saw me, treated me like I mattered for me, not just for what I could give you. You made me feel real.

[identity profile] thecricketer.livejournal.com 2007-05-11 10:37 am (UTC)(link)
2) I do hope you like it. (http://www.sendspace.com/file/jhbx9j)

6) Do I still?

I may as well ask you too.

[identity profile] thecricketer.livejournal.com 2007-05-11 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
I'm glad you seem so enthusiastic. *smiles*

1) You are a good, brave man, and I never forgot. I will always be quite fond of you.

2)Strange Cup of Tea (http://www.actionext.com/names_s/sister_hazel_lyrics/strange_cup_of_tea.html).

3) You can be a bit clumsy on occasion - or could, rather, I don't know if that still holds true. You more than made up for it.

4) You were trying to examine me, and I would have none of it.

5) An apple.

6) ...Why did you leave?

1) *blushs* Thank you, Doctor.

3) I don't think I have changed in that respect.

6) Because travelling around in time and space just wasn't for me. And I felt like you would rather I left.

[identity profile] thecricketer.livejournal.com 2007-05-11 10:28 am (UTC)(link)
1) *grins* You're welcome, Harry.

3) Let's call it a charming quirk, then.

6) Well. There's certainly no shame in that. Though I'm...sorry, for making you feel that way. That certainly wasn't me intent.

[identity profile] thisway-comes.livejournal.com 2007-05-10 03:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I... find I cannot resist my curiosity.

[identity profile] thecricketer.livejournal.com 2007-05-11 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
It seems we have yet more in common.

1) You were my friend a very long time ago, and I'm glad for the opportunity to rekindle that friendship.

2) I Will.

Light should be shining into the finale of the sadness
Time that passes by unhesitatingly and unhurriedly
I won't forget the pain that changes into kindness
The things that I destroyed when I was too rushed
I'll regain them, to walk like myself
I Will

3) You were the most brilliant, the most driven, of all of us.

4) I saw you walking, once, among the other students at the Academy. You were quite young then, but walked almost regally, with far more purpose than most, and you refused to be cowed by the seniors around you. I knew then that I simply had to know you.

5) A desert fox. As sly and bright and independent as any other, flourishing despire a dry, stagnant environment.

6) Well, not always, but since meeting you again - why Rani?

7) Image

Different lips, perhaps, but I do remember that smirk, whatever else about you has changed.

[identity profile] thisway-comes.livejournal.com 2007-05-11 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
I was once briefly married to the late prince of a planetary system a few hundred light-years from home. He fashioned himself the Raja of Miasmoria Goria; he made me his Rani. It's sort of stuck ever since.

I'm very impressed and flattered by your answers. And I'm pleased to have the opportunity to rekindle our old friendship as well.
