PIRATES for [livejournal.com profile] his_sarah_jane

They have absolutely no idea where they're going, and it's brilliant.

All of it is brilliant. Perhaps not very wise, all told, but that doesn't much matter at the moment. Not when they're laughing and clinging to the console and so very close.

It's easier, with Sarah Jane. Easier to laugh and hug and be. Perhaps it's because he knew her in an easier time; perhaps it's simply because she's Sarah. Perhaps it's both.

"I have absolutely no idea, Doctor," Sarah Jane responds, laughing as she beams up at him.

Who had any idea that faithful meeting months ago in front of her flat building would result in this? Travelling together again, just as if they had never parted. Perhaps this time, they wouldn't. At least, not until Sarah feels good and ready.

Now, though, isn't that time. Instead, she swings their arms and pulls him in the direction of the door. "There's only one way of finding out, you know."

"Since when do you bother with checking coordinates," she responded with a doubtful eyebrow raise. "I thought such a thing was beneath a Time Lord like yourself."

Sarah flashed him a cheeky smile as she let go of his hand to open the door.
